Phenyl-Free ® 1 is a phenylalanine-free, iron-fortified dietary powder for infants and toddlers with phenylketonuria (PKU). Provides the essential amino acids (except phenylalanine) as well as nonessential amino acids, carbohydrate, fat, essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals growing babies need. Also formulated with increased B vitamins for cofactor production, essential for enzyme activity. Features improved taste with the addition of sucrose and a pleasant vanilla scent.
